What team goes to the Confederations Cup if the World Cup winner also wins their region tournament?

Say Italy (World Cup winners) won the Euro 2008. What other team would be in the Confederations Cup since there’s a spot for the previous World Cup winner.

    dude, if for example Italy also won euro 2008, the team that also goes to the confederation cup would’ve been the other euro finalist.

    if a team wins the FIFA World Cup & also their own continental championship, the other place will go to the FIFA World Cup runners-up.

    it happened at the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup when BRAZIL won the 2002 FIFA World Cup & 2004 CONMEBOL Copa America. the 2002 FIFA World Cup runners-up, GERMANY however qualified as the host nation for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup.

    the other place was eventually went to ARGENTINA as they finish as runners-up to BRAZIL in the 2004 CONMEBOL Copa America.
