What role will Beckham play in the 2010 World Cup ?

John A asked:

David Beckham will most likely play at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In the last world cup he was a key player for the tree lions but in 2010 he will be 35 so what role do you think he will play, will he play a full match, will he start or be sub ?

Probably none, I’d have in the inside right midfield position possibly, but I maybe would not start him, definitely no a 90 minute man anymore.

Still England’s best dead ball taker.

scrotum licker to the FA ! If he is selected ahead of Wright-Philips , Bentley , Lennon or Walcott , england really will be a laughing stock .

I think he’ll be sitting at home, jumping up and down in his pile of money in his house.

    N.A.T.E,

you are crazy my friend…yoo obviously havnt been paying attention to his games in milan. He has proven he can still play at the highest level, 2 goals in 4 games and doesnt look out of place.!! its a known fact, you play with mediocre players on a mediocre team your gonna look average..he probably thought what the hell am i doing here. He needs to sign for Milan and then he will deffo make the 2010 world cup squad!! if he stays at galaxy he wont make it!! they are rubbish!…he wont start for england at world cup but he will play..still one of the best set piece takers in the world..
