Yes if they believe in themselves. They haven’t reached semifinals since 1930.

no i dont think so….USA can and most likely get far in the world cup but i think Bob Bradly will be ably to set up a squad by 2014 to be world cup champions…
.US needs more time to develope younger players…because that is why USA is so good right now….but Brazil and Spain and argentina really have so much talent to choose from at the moment….they need to set up a system like those countries…oh and set up a better league cuz the MLS is Garbage!!!!!… bringing old geezers who just want to come make money and dont even care about playing soccer like beckham take up spots of younger players who could be talented…
.i mean if ur gunna bring in players like C.Blanco, G. Schelotto, or J.P. Angel who bust their ***** to bring up the team than thats different..but i think that instead of wasting so much money on beckham they could have played or pulled up better US players….this is why i go for Mexico because they give opportunities to younger players in their league… US doesnt care about the sport sometimes…they rather have big names and make money than to play the sport and look at new talent…they need to invest time and money on soccer like the NFL and NBA does….that is why NBA and NFL are the best in the world….because they rarely go out and pick up players from outside they keep a close eye on great college players and they draft them and that is where all their best players come from….IF MLS and US soccer federation could do that USA would be a contender in every world cup

they may end up quarter finalist or semi, i dont think the final because there sre better teams, like france, brazil, germany , england ect…

USA will be a quarter finalist. thats good for the US…Top 8 in the world. anything more than that i doubt it.. but again, don’t forget what happened in the confederation cup…wow!

In the football world, anything’s possible. They can get some luck, and win it all, but realistically, it’s very unlikely they’ll go very far in the world cup. Pretty much because they play all the major teams way too defensively, and rely on packing their box and sending balls out, and trying to get a counter goal. It won’t work multiple games.
