What top seed(s) will NOT make it out of the Group Stage of the 2010 World Cup?

Besides hosts South Africa, which one of the top seeds do you think are least likely to make it to the Round of 16.

I think South Africa are the only ones that won’t make it. All of the rest will most probably even win their groups. Italy and England are pretty weak at the moment, but they are in the two weakest groups, so will probably make it anyway. I would say all of the others have 100% secured spots in the Round of 16.

Holland has a knack for choking; but in the end they’ll make it except South Africa.

The defending champions could well be brought back down to earth with a nasty bump this summer. The state of Italian football on and off the pitch remains rotten. Attendances are appalling and Serie A is rife with with terrace violence. The Azzuri players deserve respect for the way that they won four years ago… One thing that hasn’t changed is their dull, boring style of play… The defense will be dour, the midfield will press and the attack will most certainly be the first line of defense.
As four years ago, Italy will be reliant on the odd moment of magic upfront, although one wonders exactly who is going to provide it.
Aquilani is regarded as one of their most talented midfielders but look how unimpressive he has been for Liverpool this season.
In attack, Giuseppe Rossi is no Paolo Rossi. He didn’t make it at Man U and now plays for Villareal. Neither Antonio di Natale of Udinese or Juve’s Vincenzo Iaquinta are world class forwards either.
Midfield playmaker Andreas Pirlo is a class act but opponents will soon suss out that if they stop him they stifle Italy.
The four-time winners have a history of going all the way by grinding out results but there are too many vastly better teams this summer – possibly even in Group F.

Germany might not. They’ve got a tough group and a relatively weak roster (on paper, and by German standards). Of course, that seems like the case every year and they continue to overachieve, but they would appear most likely.

Honestly, i see them all making 1st place in their group.
But if i were to choose, Argentina.
