How far do you guys think Mexico will make it to the 2014 and 2018 world cup?

I mean by the 2014 world cup Mexico will have their stars (first generation to win the sub 17 world cup) and they might also include the players that recently won the sub 17 world cup. So they will have the 2 generations probably in the senior team. So if things go great for them how far do you guys think they can go?:) I mean do you guys think it’s their time to be viewed as a power house team? What do you think? Thanks.

    I think that just because Mexico won two U17 world cup’s does not mean that both generations will repeat that feat and win the World Cup. For one thing, a World Cup encompasses several generations. Secondly, it is actually bad for team spirit to have two defined generations in its squad, e.g. Generation A and Generation B, particularly if both generations had successes previously, because it will cause a division in the squad.
